Your Geauga County parks are bursting with hidden gems to explore and incredible Nature to behold – and Geauga Park District naturalists are eager to take you to places where you can witness it first-hand!

The year’s new Hidden Gems Hike series kicks off this spring with a visit to Whitlam Woods in Chardon Township on Saturday, March 4th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and a visit to Affelder Falls at The West Woods on Saturday, March 25th, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

And isn’t it thrilling to see a Bald Eagle out in Nature? Plan to attend our Bald Eagle Hike on Saturday, March 4th, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Headwaters Park, where a naturalist will share facts about these majestic birds, then hike to an active nest in search of eagle activity! We’ll head out rain or shine.
