Timeless memories! Among the Class of 2018 graduates were students who were part of the last Kindergarten class to go to Huntsburg Elementary School. During their year there, students and staff put together a time capsule that contained notes from staff, letters from students about themselves, a menu, a yearbook, and a Junie B. Jones book.

During the senior awards on May 17th, the capsule was opened and those students who were still part of our district got to see the items once again and enjoyed looking through the memories from 13 years ago! Seniors who had a memory page in the capsule got to take their page home with them. Capsules from the CHS classes of 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 were also opened this summer. Those contents, along with the remainder of the Class of 2018 capsule are on display at the Board Office.

Students made the capsule items when they were Kindergarteners at Huntsburg Elementary.
