Cardinal graduate Emily Kneier placed 9th at the Educators Rising National Competition for her children’s literature book.

Cardinal High School Graduate Places in National Educators Competition

Congratulations to Cardinal High School graduate Emily Kneier – she recently found out she placed 9th overall at the Educators Rising national competition for her children’s literature book! Emily received the invitation to nationals in Orlando, FL back in the spring when her literary creation, “The Day She Knew” took a 4th place in the state competition through Auburn Career Center. Emily wrote, developed and illustrated the book herself.

When Emily wasn’t competing at the national competition, she was supporting her fellow classmates or participating in workshops that helped develop her teaching strategies. She also had time to visit some of the Disney attractions. Emily still hopes to one day become a middle school math and social studies teacher – you’re on your way Emily! Congratulations!

Pictured In Cover Photo: A great turn out for the 2nd Annual Cardinal High School Alumni Soccer game on Saturday, July 21 – 25 former players (pictured in blue) come back and participate in the event. They got the best of our current players by a score of 7-1. A big thank you to everyone who came out!
