Mobile Dentist Returns to Jordak Elementary School

The Mobile Dentist will be coming to Jordak on Thursday, November 15th and Friday, November 16th for the fall session. This year the mobile dentist will be sending a restorative team which means that cavities can also be filled, an option not available last year. Parents/guardians can register their student for an appointment online at My School Dentist or by completing the registration form that was sent home with students and returning it to school. Registration forms can also be found on our website Cardinal Local School District.

The Mobile dentist accepts most forms of insurance (as long as it has been at least 6 months since a student’s last dental checkup.) For those without insurance or the means to pay, the Mobile Dentist offers a grant program. No child is turned away due to an inability to pay. Parents/guardians can call 888-833-8441 for additional information on the program.

4th graders in the purple class enjoy apples while reading. Students won the reward for collecting the most stickers for their positive behaviors.

Jordak Elementary School Apple Challenge

As part of the monthly positive behavior incentive at Jordak, all of the classrooms in the building took part in a sticker challenge. Students could earn stickers for their class’s apple chart by showing Huskie Pride anywhere on campus, including the bus. The 4th grade “purple” class won the challenge for that grade and was rewarded with apples to enjoy during silent reading. Great job pups – keep up the great work!

Pictured In Cover Photo: Congratulations to Cardinal High School seniors Isaiah T. and Faith P. who were voted as the 2018 Homecoming King and Queen on October 19th.
