Cardinal Middle School 8th Graders Learn About Colonial America

Students in Mr. Luke Kruse’s 8th grade social studies class are currently studying Colonial America. Students recently participated in two historical simulations to help engage them with the material. The first simulation was the Salem Witch Trials where students acted out the accusations. Students also acted out a New England Town Meeting to vote on how to spend the town tax funds.

Cardinal to Host Annual Wellness Fair

The Cardinal Local School District will be hosting their annual Wellness Fair on Friday, October 13th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Cardinal Middle School. In celebration of the upcoming Halloween holiday and Friday the 13th , the theme for this year’s event is don’t let your health get scary! Nearly two dozen vendors will be on site to help you rejuvenate physically, socially, emotionally, and financially while enhancing your career and community relations with help from various health, wellness, beauty, financial, and insurance vendors. CVS will be providing flu shots for those ages 7 and older so please bring your insurance card. There will be interactive displays, freebies, prize drawings, and a special fun zone just for kids! This event is free and open to the public – see you there!
