Only weeks into the new school year, student council members at Chagrin Falls Middle School wanted to make new students feel welcome and become acquainted with the school and community. On Friday, September 15th, several student council members organized a day to help acclimate the new students to Chagrin.
The day began with a new student breakfast where student council members got to know their fellow schoolmates. Following breakfast, the council members organized a tour of downtown Chagrin. The tour focused on areas that were relevant to the city’s history as well as places council members
enjoyed going and wanted to share. The highlight of the tour was seeing the falls and walking near places like the Popcorn Shop.
“We had a lot of fun getting to know our new students and showing them a bit of Chagrin,” said Kyle Patterson, school counselor, Chagrin Falls Middle School.
