Chardon Kids Fest Ready for Another Fun Year

The Chardon Square Association is pleased to announce the return of Chardon Kids Fest. The Chardon Kids Fest is held each year to offer kids of all ages a safe day of fun activities. We would like to thank our lead sponsor, Fairmount Minerals, and WKKY 104.7 for their generous support which has made this year’s Chardon Kids Fest possible.

The third annual Chardon Kids Fest will take place on August 16 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the Historic Chardon Square. The day’s events will start with activities for children under the age of 14 at 3 p.m. and transition to activities for teens in the evening. This year, many of the kid friendly activities from previous years will be returning for the enjoyment of area children.

Kids-Fest-1Two of the activities, back by popular demand, are the tug of war competition and the dunk booth. This year, the girls will be defending their undefeated record in the tug of war competition against the boys. In addition, there will be a few familiar faces taking turns in the dunk booth throughout the day.

“When Chardon Kids Fest was started in 2010, I was hoping to provide fun activities for our youth who often say that they are never allowed to have any fun,” said Brian Kelly, Chairman of Chardon Kids Fest. “After two successful Kids Fests, I hope kids know that they can have safe fun in town.”

Kids from the Chardon area are encouraged to join us for a fun filled day of safe activities for all ages. For more information, please visit the website, email info@chardonkidsfest.com, or “like” the official Facebook group of the Chardon Kids Fest.
