The Chardon Square Association’s 32nd Annual Arts Festival will be held on Sunday, August 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on beautiful, historic Chardon Square.
Chardon Square is located at the intersection of State Routes 44 and 6, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The juried, outdoor show will host over 100 artists, both local and out of state, providing a wonderful opportunity for a day of shopping and dining in a park-like setting. It is estimated that 5,000 people enjoy this beautiful show each year.
The artists represented will cover many different genres including; painting, stained glass, leather, fabric art, wood carving, pottery, photography, weaving, copper, jewelry, stone cutting, and more.
You will not want to miss the ever popular large copper frog sculptures for your patio or pond, the beautifully painted whimsical shower curtains, the skirts sewn from vintage tablecloths, or the beautifully hand woven outfits of local artist, Nancy Hart. There are so many wonderful artists that come from a variety of places throughout the country.
A great selection of restaurants will be open on the Square during the festival for your dining pleasure as well as food venders at the show.

While on the Square, enjoy a self guided walking tour provided by the Chardon Square Association, and discover our rich history to commemorate our city’s Bicentennial. The tour walks you down Main Street and through the Park to view the sights as they are today and as they were in the past.
