“beat the heat nature strolls” take advantage of summer evenings

It may be hot, but will that hold us back? No! Join Geauga Park District for naturalist-led Beat the Heat Nature Strolls!

Leisurely walks held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. will begin after the heat of the day has subsided, at a time when both people and nature are prone to be more active, said Naturalist Services Director Diane Valen.

“By moving to different parks, participants get a chance to explore a variety of locations as they walk and talk with the naturalist informally, letting Nature dictate the subject and provide teachable moments,” she added.
