The two-hour nonstop Fall Flyer train ride returns to Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) for its second year starting Saturday, October 6th. View the vibrant colors of autumn as the train weaves through Cuyahoga Valley National Park on weekends in October.

The Fall Flyer train ride gives passengers an opportunity to view the breathtaking scenery uninterrupted from a variety of seating options aboard heritage railcars, including CVSR’s recently acquired California Zephyr train cars.

The train departs from Rockside Station (7900 Old Rockside Road, Independence) at 9:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th. The train departs from Akron Northside Station (27 Ridge Street, Akron) at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. CVSR recommends arriving at the train station 30 minutes prior to departure.

There are a variety of seating options, including table top, first class, suites (four people), roomettes (two people) and dome seating. New this year: seating in the California Zephyr dome, suite, and first-class cars! Tickets range in price from $25 to $30 per person. Passengers under the age of two do not require a ticket but must sit on a parent’s or guardian’s lap.

Food, beverages and merchandise are available for purchase in the concession car. CVSR accepts cash and all major credit cards, except American Express.

Tickets can be purchased online at Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Fall Flyer, by calling 1-800-468-4070 ext 1, or at the station 30 minutes prior to departure time. For more information, visit Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
