It’s official: the public is back out on the water at Headwaters Park thanks to Geauga Park District’s free kayak-borrowing program – and you can be, too!

All summer long, kayaks are now available to borrow first-come, first-served for up to two hours Wednesdays and Thursdays 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10:45 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please call 440-279-0850 to confirm hours of operation before your visit.

A limited number of youth and double kayaks are also available, as well as canoes. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. A driver’s license will be held as a security deposit. Provided life vests must be worn at all times.

For more on Geauga Park District offerings, please call 440-286-9516 or visit us online at Geauga Park District, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube.
