Grandparents and grandchildren, enjoy two days of Nature fun this summer with park exploration, activities, food and more!

Registration is now open at Geauga Park District or 440-286-9516 for the Grandparents Summer Picnic on Tuesday, July 25th, 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Big Creek Park, as well as the Grandparents Summer Farewell Fest on Friday, August 18th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Rookery.

A free hot dog lunch courtesy of the Chardon Senior Center is part of the July picnic! Please bring a dessert or side dish to share in July, and a snack to share in August.

Featured activities include a magnet “fishing” game, bat bean-bag toss, crafts, face-painting and rides in the EZ Go Cart in July; and a scavenger hunt, live critters and an animal mask craft in August.
