If you love birdwatching, you’ll love this chance to get out in the early spring to one of our area’s prime waterfowl-watching spots.

Join a naturalist, no registration required, for the Spring Wings Waterfowl Watch on Sunday, March 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m at LaDue Reservoir.

From our starting point in the boat house parking area, located at Valley and Washington streets east of Route 44, it’ll be first come, first served loading into our naturalists’ touring van (with others caravanning behind). We’ll then pause and unload along various spots on the reservoir to spot loons, grebes, various ducks and other migrants – as well as, perhaps, resident Bald Eagles!

Participants are encouraged to please bring their own binoculars. Activities will not be wheelchair/stroller accessible. Don’t miss this Nature’s Not to Be Missed-category opportunity to enjoy spring birding at its best!

Additional upcoming birding opportunities are always listed on our new website under Activities, then Birdwatching. With questions about any of these upcoming opportunities, please call 440-286-9516.

For more on Geauga Park District offerings, please call 440-286-9516 or visit Geauga Park District online at Geauga Park District, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube.
