Need a break from the weekly grind, ladies? Schedule some time for yourself to relax in the park with kayaking, yoga and Monarchs at our annual summer Nature Break: Women’s Retreat on Saturday, August 25th, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Your morning at scenic Bass Lake Preserve and lodge will begin with a light continental breakfast. Retreat time includes kayaking (instruction and equipment provided), yoga led by certified yoga instructor Cassandra Shofar, a milkweed seed bomb craft, live Monarchs (if available) and a game illustrating the Monarch’s difficult migration to Mexico.
Of course you may also choose to spend some of your time simply sitting near the lake and enjoying the view, binoculars provided. Finally, end your morning with lunch, also provided, among friends old or new.
Please dress in layers with comfortable clothes for being outside, as well as a change of clothes in case yours get wet while kayaking.
Spots are filling fast, so don’t delay to register and pay the required $6 for lunch at Geauga Park District or 440-286-9516. Only females school age and up, please. Feel free to call with any other questions about this morning of relaxation before you commit.
