Revak, Stute, Sivilio, and Martin honored with RA Horn & Franklin Walter Awards
Burton Elementary’s Jenna Revak and Ledgemont Elementary’s Athena Stute were awarded the Raymond A. Horn Outstanding Student Awards for 2017 at Auburn Career Center on April 26th. Additionally, Berkshire Local Schools teachers Michelle Sivilio and Rebekah Martin were awarded the Franklin B. Walter Awards for Educators. Congratulations to all four!
LE to offer both AM and PM PreSchool Enrollment for 2017-18
The SUTQ Geauga ESC Preschool housed at Ledgemont is now enrolling. We are looking for 3-5 year olds for both the morning and afternoon sessions. Tuition assistance is available for those who qualify. Call 440-729-0137 for enrollment information. Currently, the LE afternoon preschool follows an integrated model serving children identified with a disability/delay and also peer models. In our classes, we help our youngest learners to develop their self-confidence, social/emotional skills, and a love of learning that will help them find success in school and in life!
Hess and Scott honored with CVC Sportsmanship Awards
Congratulations to seniors Emil Hess and Kylie Scott, the two Berkshire students recognized at the Chagrin Valley Conference (CVC) Sportsmanship Awards Conference on April 26th. Schools from the throughout the conference each recognized two students from their district who exemplifies sportsmanship and leadership. Both Hess and Scott are continuing their sports careers at college. Hess will be attending John Carroll University and to play basketball. Scott is attending Cleveland State University and running cross country. Both have displayed leadership, poise, and hard work as student athletes at Berkshire.
