Lowe’s Greenhouses, Florist and Gift Shop announces two new events in its Wonderful Women and Wine series. In this popular series, Lowe’s Greenhouse staff members provide the inspiration and supplies and clean up the mess.
On Thursday, January 25, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a member of the Lowe’s Greenhouse creative team will lead a Kokedama Workshop where participants will learn how to make their own modern Japanese design using plants and moss. Fee for the workshop is $25, and includes three planters.
From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, Lowe’s Greenhouse will host a Succulent Bar where attendees can select from an assortment of beautiful succulents for planting in a container provided (or one brought from home). A “bartender” will create something spectacular for the participant to take home, or the attendee can create the planter herself. The Succulent Bar event is $30.
Attendees may bring a bottle of wine to drink or share and enjoy 10% off of everything in the Wild Thistle Gift Shop the night of the event.
