mars…what have NASA robots told us about our space in the universe?

This month the Mars rover, Curiosity, lands on the red planet. But what does this planet mean to us?

Find out at Discover Mars on Fridays, August 10 and 24 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Observatory Park, 10610 Clay Street, Montville Township.

With Observatory Park naturalists Chris Mentrek and Wayne Kriynovich, learn about NASA’s robotic missions and what we earthlings have learned from them, then preview “the sky tonight” in the planetarium. Finally, if weather permits, get outdoors and take in some night sky viewing with the Chagrin Valley Astronomical Society and its telescopes on August 24.

Registration is not required for these programs, which are suitable for those school-aged and older and wheelchair/stroller accessible. Call 440-286-9516 with questions.
