Newbury Students Perform in Kent State University All Star Choir

Five Newbury High School choir students were selected to perform in the Kent State University All Star Choir. These students spent time on campus Sunday, October 7th, and Monday, October 8th rehearsing under Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies, Dr. Scott MacPherson.

The group of over 170 musicians then performed in a final concert to showcase their work on Monday night in Cartwright Hall on Kent State’s Campus. The students pictured left to right are: 11th grader Owen Otto, 10th grader Madisen Millward, 12th grader Nicole Sigan, 10th grader Anita Sarkisian, and 12th grader Ryley Gilbert.
