Fresh air makes outdoor movies and live music all the more charming. Get in on this classic summertime fun in Geauga Park District – all at no charge!

In June, Star Trek Beyond drew more than 200 people to Observatory Park for a neat night under the stars. Next up, on an even larger inflatable screen:  The Jungle Book on July 22nd and WALL-E on August 19th, the latter serving as a grand finale to the Nassau Astronomical Station Opening Celebration that begins at 6:00 p.m. Themed movie activities begin at 800 p.m., including free popcorn and lemonade, and each film begins at dark. Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs and get comfy on the lawn!

At Big Creek Park, then, two more amphitheater concerts also grace the amphitheater this summer, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: The Legacy Band (oldies, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, Motown and country) on July 29th and Mo’ Mojo (hard-driving, high-energy, Zydeco-based “Party-Gras” music) on August 26th. Shows include refreshments and get moved indoors in case of inclement weather.

Observatory Park is located at 10610 Clay Street in Montville Township; Big Creek Park is located at 9160 Robinson Road in Chardon Township.
