In Notre Dame Elementary Schools’ 3rd grade STEM Class,  Dr. Susan and Mr. Kyle Rhodes of Avery Dennison spoke with students on all the stages of manufacturing a product from scientific design and development to packaging and marketing.  In groups, the students were “commissioned” by Mr. Willie Wonka to develop a “food-flavored gum”.  Using worksheets, students walked through the process of developing and marketing a food flavored gum that would appeal to a group of consumers.
