Shop in the park the last Wednesdays of July, August & September!
Vendors at Geauga Park District’s inaugural West Woods Wednesday had rave reviews, and shoppers were excited to come back again and again – but what else would you expect from a monthly farm market in this beautiful park atmosphere?
The last Wednesdays of July, August and September, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., come to the picnic shelters in The West Woods for perusing and shopping fun: honey, bee pollen and candles, cut flower bunches, medicinal mushrooms, baked goods, jams, baskets and fabric goods, succulents planted in decorative containers, vegetables and vegetable sprouts, handmade soaps, lotions and balms, maple syrup, and much more!
No need to adjust your dinner schedule around these once-a-month markets, either. Treat yourself to an item from the Hunger Squad food truck, which will be on-site with a large variety of tasty meals, including their very popular maple pulled pork sandwiches.
The West Woods is located at 9465 Kinsman Road (Route 87) in Russell Township.
From after-work hiking to shopping local to a trendy food truck dinner, there will truly be something for everyone at these monthly farm markets. We hope you will join us!
Are you a farm market vendor? Applications for sales of fresh produce, flowers, baked items and other similar products are still being accepted for future weeks at Geauga Park District.
