Offering a local shopping opportunity in one of the county’s most popular parks, Geauga Park District’s West Woods Wednesdays Farm Market moves this summer to the second Wednesday of each month, June to September – a one-stop shop for all your mid-week, farm-fresh needs.
On top of vendors providing all kinds of locally made/grown items from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., an onsite food truck will be serving dinner and snack options for purchase, so shoppers can easily come out after work and make it an evening in the park!
Geauga Park District is still accepting applications from interested farm market vendors, particularly those with fresh produce, flowers, breads/baked items and similar products. To apply, please visit the new Geauga Park District under Activities, then Special Events & Art Shows, and find a link to the 2018 vendor application.
Approved vendors are already excited to bring their honey items, produce, flavored nuts, beef and vegan jerky, bakery, handmade soaps and lotions, sauces, jams, self-watering planters and lanterns made from recycled bottles, birdhouses/birdfeeders, kettle corn and snow-cones.
