If you’re not sure where to begin, but you’d like to become one of our volunteer writers, then we have a perfect event for you. Many of you have interesting stories and positive news about Geauga County so we’d like to give you the opportunity to write when you have something exciting to share with the rest of us.
The Geauga News will be holding it’s first writers clinic and would like to invite you to attend. In this clinic we’ll be covering basic writing principals, and we will also be sharing how you can be involved on a consistent basis with Geauga News. Our editor Patty Arnold will be teaching at the event, and you’ll also be able to meet some of the other Geauga News team members.
Where:
The event will be held at Punderson Manor Lodge and Conference Center
When:
March 10th 11:00 am until 3:00 pm
Snacks will be served during the event
Who:
You of course! We would like to invite anyone interested in writing for the Geauga News to attend, so bring yourself and a friend. We promise it will be fun. It doesn’t matter if you have never written an article or essay before, or if you are an advanced and professional writer. We will have something for all skill levels during this event.
There is no cost to attend, but we do ask that you consider donating a few dollars on the day of the event to help us cover the cost of the event.
