As the temperatures begin to drop and you’re out collecting firewood, no doubt you’re hoping we don’t have another winter like last year! But you just never know. According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac long range forecast…well, I’ll let you read it so you won’t blame me!
Annual Weather Summary: November 2014 to October 2015
Winter will be colder than normal, with the coldest periods in late December, throughout January, and in early February. Precipitation will be below normal in the east and near normal in the west. Snowfall will be above normal in most of the region, with the snowiest periods in mid-December, early and mid-January, and early February.
Hmmm…but they could be wrong.
Either way, think about sitting by that cozy fire you are gathering wood for now. Wouldn’t it be nice to curl up in a nice new rocker recliner? Or a plush sofa while you’re reading or watching TV?
