The National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence is the highest award that a school can receive in the country and acknowledges NDES as an Exemplary High Performing school, performing in the top 15% of the nation in both math and reading.

Each year, 0.1% or less of private/Catholic schools have an opportunity to apply for and receive the Blue Ribbon Award. A maximum of 50 private/Catholic schools in our country receive the Blue Ribbon Award each year. In 32 years, less than 3% of all 31,000 private/Catholic schools in our country have received this prestigious Blue Ribbon Award.

Our school mission is what sets us apart. We are a community of faith and love and believe in the possibilities of each individual. Notre Dame’s community spirit is attributed to its committed partnership with students, parents, faculty and staff, as well as its deep relationship with the Sisters of Notre Dame.

Through Jesus’s message of goodness, each member of our “family” is accepted and respected. Each person is encouraged to share personal gifts and talents. We care for our students, believe in their success and always look with optimism towards the future. As an educational community, each individual does their part to support our vision of excellence. The school’s faith-based curriculum encourages students to become productive, responsible and exemplary members of society and provides students with the knowledge, values and tools to build strong character. At Notre Dame, we always imagine possibilities and opportunities and strive to make a positive difference in our world.
