Eight people die a day in Ohio from overdoses!
The Let’s Talk Series will explore the topic Epidemic: The Opiate and Heroin Crisis facilitated by Terri McIntee, Candidate for State Representative, on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Middlefield Public Library, 16167 East High Street, Middlefield, OH 44062. Doors open at 6:30 pm and presentation at 7:00 pm.
Panel members are: Judge Terri Stupica – member of Lake/Geauga Opiate Task Force; Craig Swenson – Geauga Jobs and Family Services; Matt Peterson – Lake/Geauga Recovery Center; and Ron Wiech – Middlefield Councilman and Candidate for County Commissioner.
They will share their expertise on this out of control epidemic impacting families and neighbors. Panelist will share their perspective of the impact within their own organizations, and the short term and long term impact of families, relatives and neighborhoods. This epidemic has no limits and the statistics are overwhelming. Time will be given at the end for Q & A and resource information.
