Protect Geauga Parks is holding their Third Annual Heroes of Conservation Reception on Sunday, November 12 at 2:30 p.m. at Munson Township Hall (12210 Auburn Road, Munson, OH 44024).
This year, Protect Geauga Parks will be honoring the Geauga League of Women Voters, represented by Rosemary Balazs, Geauga League of Women Voters President and Dr. James Bissell for their contributions to conservation in Geauga County.
At this year’s event, Protect Geauga Parks will also be presenting the first Bob McCullough Memorial Conservation Scholarship to three Class of 2018 students. With these scholarships, Protect Geauga Parks and the McCullough family hope to encourage a conservation ethic among young people.
Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served prior to the presentations. Desserts, coffee and tea will be served following the presentations.
