Bass Lake Canoe & Campfire

Enjoy the beauty of this ancient glacial lake as we paddle along its peaceful shores in your canoe or one of ours, completely free, then take in a summer campfire on land.

The Bass Lake Canoe & Campfire (Ages 10+ w/adult) program will take place Friday, Sept. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bass Lake Preserve, Lodge, 11445 Lakeview Drive, Munson Twp.

We expect the sunset to create a perfect backdrop for exciting wildlife sightings, possibly including the Bald Eagle and Great Blue Heron. Then, we’ll cozy up around the warm mid-September fire to share discoveries and enjoy a fire-cooked snack…and yes, that snack will be a toasty, gooey s’more.

Registration is required for this float beginning September 11 at 440-286-9516. Basic canoeing skills and life vests are required, and participants must be age 10 or older and at least age 12 to paddle.
