Call for “Holiday Heroes” – Foster Homeless Animals in December!

Rescue Village is calling for anyone willing to foster a dog or cat this holiday season with the goal of getting them adopted by 2017. This will allow them to get out of the shelter and be in a real home for the holidays.

On Thursday, December 8th from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., come to a mandatory information and foster training session at Rescue Village. Then, pick out a dog or cat to take home for the holidays. We’ll ask that you use your network to try and get this animal adopted by 2017. Post on social media and show the animal to friends and family, all while allowing a homeless animal to have a little break from shelter life. Rescue Village will offer any supplies and information needed to care for the animal.

Make this holiday season special by providing a temporary home for a homeless animal while helping us find their forever home! Help us get all of our homeless animals out of the shelter this holiday season!

If you have questions or would like to sign up, please email programs@geaugahumane.org.

Note if you don’t find a home for your foster animal, we will take them back and keep searching or you can keep fostering them beyond January 1st until they do find homes!
