Chagrin Falls Contra Dance

Chagrin Falls Township HallThe Chagrin Falls Contra Dance will be held Monday, the 17th of September, at the Chagrin Falls Township Hall 83 North Main Street. This is a lovely and lively dance that you will not want to miss. The folk musicians for this Contra Dance perform with style and elegance. The band consists of Paul Kovac, from Hillbilly Idol, who plays mandolin, banjo, and guitar. Denny Jones is a master fiddle player. Jen Maurer, from Mo Mojo, plays bass and accordion. Joe Hunter, the well known jazz pianist, is in charge of key board. Will Craig keeps beat with percussion and runs the sound board. No need for prior dance experience. Each Contra Dance is taught through simple instruction by dance caller Kenny Wilson. Introductory dance lesson starts at 7:30 p.m. and the Contra Dance is from 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Admission is $8.00 for those 17 years and under, $10.00 per adult, and $25.00 per family. This is a great family-friendly event that you will look forward to every third Monday of the month.
