Cardinal Middle School was abuzz with excitement on Wednesday, August 19, as parents and students filled the hallways for locker set-up. Students were invited to come into the building to get their locker assignment, practice opening their locker, and set up their space so it’s all ready to go for the first day of school on August 25.

Students also had the opportunity to see where their classrooms will be for the upcoming school year. “I’m excited for the new year to start,” said eighth grader Emma T. “I wanted to come here today because I like to be organized, I like bright, fun spaces. So, this will be fun to come to on the first day.”
Incoming fifth grader Sabrina C. was organizing all of her pencils, thankful for the time to set up before classes start. She states, “I’m most excited for Science class, hopefully we’ll get to do some fun experiments!”
