DESCRIPTION:Come and spend some time snuggling goats of all ages and sizes on the Farm!  It will be a Goat-tastic time!\n\n\nCome out to the farm and awaken your inner “kid!” \nWant some animal hugs? Not a fan of the whole Goat yoga craze but still love animals?  This is an educational and therapeutic opportunity on the farm!  \nWe will be introducing the goats  where they can be cuddled\, fed treats\, and maybe even a bottle!  Kids of all ages love our Snuggle Sessions.  Learn about the animals purpose on the farm and interact with our friendly group! Sit and cuddle the animals with no expectation! \nThis year\, Snuggle Sessions aren’t completely private but there are spots for 10-20 people in each group. Navigating a timber harvest and understanding your responsibilities can be difficult.  Join us for this in-person program that will help you understand “Logging Laws for Landowners” along with your role\, best management practices to include in your contract\, and real world issues to anticipate. \nOur featured speaker is Nathan Paskey\, District Manager of Ashtabula Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and Secretary/Treasurer of the Northeast Ohio Loggers Chapter.  \nThis is an in-person program taking place at the Ashtabula SWCD office \nThis free\, in-person program is limited to 80 and registration is required. DESCRIPTION:How about a fitness hike at Observatory Park to burn off those extra calories\, learning some cool facts about Geauga County Nature from Outdoor Recreation Specialist Trevor Wearstler along the way? \nThis season’s Nature Trek Fitness Hikes are scheduled for Sunday\, September 26\, from either 9 to 11 a.m. or 1 to 3 p.m. Both will require the ability to hike at least three miles.
