DESCRIPTION:If you’ve ever wished you could spend your workday outdoors\, helping others enjoy Nature\, or building hands-on skills that last a lifetime\, Geauga Park District invites you to check out its upcoming Job Fair on Saturday\, January 24\, from 11 AM to 2 PM at The West Woods Nature Center. \n  \nThis friendly drop-in event is a chance for seasonal job seekers to learn how they can join the Geauga Park District team and meet staff from a variety of departments that need seasonal help. Whether you’re a student looking for summer work\, someone exploring a career change\, or simply looking to supplement your income\, this job fair may be able to help you find your fit. \n  \nGeauga Park District’s seasonal positions typically span multiple areas\, including park operations\, maintenance\, natural resource management\, education and visitor services. \n  \n“Working for the Park District is more than just a job. It’s a chance to be part of something bigger\,” said Christine Cycyk\, human resources manager. “Our seasonal employees help maintain parks\, assist visitors and support programs that encourage people of all ages to get outdoors and connect with Nature.” \n  \nJob fair attendees will be able to learn about current seasonal and part-time openings\, meet staff they’d be working with and talk directly with them about day-to-day responsibilities\, find out what skills are helpful to bring (and which ones you’ll learn on the job)\, and either apply onsite or get tips on the application and hiring process. \n  \nThose who cannot attend can also still explore opportunities and apply online at www.geaugaparkdistrict.org under About GPD\, then Careers.
