Finding Your Heart’s Desire on the Yellow Brick Road

You never know what surprises you will find if you follow the yellow brick road. Sometimes it may actually bring your heart’s desire. That’s what Dorothy, played by Allison Lehr, found after opening night of The Wizard of Oz when her boyfriend got down on one knee after the show. Anthony Osko popped the question under the marquee and Dorothy (oops, Allison) gladly accepted.

The Geauga Theater has a long list of matches in its history, and now Allison and Anthony will have their place in the books. The talented cast will continue singing and dancing their way to Oz through May 18.

Come enjoy The Geauga Lyric’s production of The Wizard of Oz, directed by J.E. Ballantyne! The Wizard of Oz, sponsored by GEM Electric, is based on the classical motion picture owned by Turner Entertainment Co. and distributed by Warner Bros
