Free, exclusive programming means more fun for the “more experienced” Nature lover!
Fishing and birdwatching are featured fun during this spring’s Senior Days series, co-presented by Geauga Park District, the Geauga County Department on Aging and University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.
April is prime birdwatching season! So on Thursday, April 27th, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The Rookery, we’ll take a walk to share birding basics for all skill levels, then head into Great Blue Heron Lodge for a tasty pancake breakfast by our co-presenters.
Warmer weather also means outdoor fun by the water, so we’ll come together on Thursday, June 15th, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Beartown Lakes Reservation for more pancakes by our co-presenters, then a morning of angling and trying to catch “the big one” with Park District staff.
Both days are free, but registration is required at Geauga Park District or 440-286-9516. Activities will be partially wheelchair/stroller accessible, so if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call.
