Learn how your native fish are identified and studied

Somethings fishyNortheast Ohio supports an astounding diversity of native fishes that includes not only game fish, but a much larger variety of small, often colorful ones inhabiting the upper and lower reaches of the Grand, Chagrin, and Cuyahoga rivers.

Join Geauga Park District Park’s park biologist, Paul Pira, as he shares how native fish are identified and how their populations and aquatic habitats are surveyed and studied.

This program, geared for those school age and older, is being presented in conjunction with Blackbrook Audubon, which does refreshments, announcements and a raffle before the presentation and allows time for questions and socialization afterwards.
