Cardinal Schools’ maintenance crews are hard at work this summer preparing the four buildings for the upcoming year. School grounds have been spruced up, floors have been waxed, carpets have been cleaned and fresh coats of paint have been applied in every building.
At the high school, the distance learning classroom renovations are nearly complete. Crews have also replaced old ceiling tiles and repairs are underway on the roof.
Wider bus lanes have been paved at the middle school and elementary school and the drainage project at the middle school is the final stages.
“We have a lot of items to get through on our summer maintenance checklist,” says Maintenance Supervisor Brian Kelly. “Our crews have worked hard and the grounds and the buildings look great – they’ll be ready to welcome students and staff back in a couple of weeks.”
