Moe’s Southwest Grill and Mentor Baseball League Team Up for a Dinner Win! All are invited to participate in the pre-purchase taco kit fundraiser

Orders are placed now and taco kit pick up is Tuesday, June 15th

MENTOR, OH – What goes best with baseball when hot dogs are not the option, tacos of course!

The Mentor Baseball League is holding a Moe’s Southwest Grill taco kit fundraiser with proceeds going to the new fields and batting cages being built this year at Garfield Park. For every taco kit the league sells, 25% of the sale is donated back to the league.  This is an easy, convenient way to get dinner and support community baseball.

Families love the taco kits as they are a fun and fulfilling meal option, hot and ready to eat.  Each kit serves 4-6 and comes with 12 soft flour tortillas, your choice of 2 proteins, lettuce, shredded cheese, Pico de Gallo, rice, beans, sour cream and of course a bowl of Moe’s famous queso.  As usual, the chips and salsa are included and are compliments of Moe’s!  Taco kits are $34.99 for this fundraiser.

How it works in 3 easy steps:

  1. Place your order online at https://form.jotform.com/211034452987154
  2. Make sure when ordering, you order from the Mentor Moe’s location you want to pick your kit up from.
  3. Online orders are being taken now through June 14th at 10:00 pm.

Tuesday, June 15th is Mentor Baseball League taco kit pick up day!  All pre-ordered kits will be hot and ready for pick up between 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm at both Moe’s Mentor locations on Mentor Avenue.  Purchasers must pick up their taco kit at the location they selected when ordering.

“Teaming up with Moe’s has been a simple process to coordinate our fundraiser,” states Jeff Elly, Mentor Baseball League chairman.  “We simply selected a date for the taco kit pick up and shared the ordering link, Moe’s handles the rest!”

“As you can imagine, with 98 teams and over 1200 players this year ranging in age from 4 years to 18+, we are a big organization with many moving pieces and parts.  To hold a fundraiser that does not add to our work load and can benefit so many people by the funds raised is a home run!”

Known for terrific Mexican food, awesome tacos and committed to community, Moe’s Southwest Grill’s taco kit fundraising program has helped over 80 organizations with their fundraising. “With two of the four Moe’s Southwest Grill locations our family owns right here in Mentor, we are thrilled to be able to help our local baseball program raise funds to benefit the players and league,” states Moe’s owner, Ryan O’Hare.  The community is invited to share in their support by purchasing a taco kit!

About Moe’s Southwest Grill

“Welcome to Moe’s!” More than 20 years ago the Southwest fare restaurant opened in Atlanta, Georgia with these very words.  Still today, this is the greeting received when entering Moe’s because well, everybody should feel welcomed.  Cleveland’s east side saw its first Moe’s Southwest Grill with the opening of a Mentor location in 2015 by the O’Hare family.  To date the O’Hare’s locally own and operate four locations with the additional three being in Mayfield Heights, South Euclid and a second Mentor location.  Moe’s guests can create whatever they’re craving with fresh, healthy ingredient choices.  Famous for Mexican burritos, queso and the free chips and salsa that come with every order, the Moe’s build your own Taco, Fajita and Nacho Kits are soon to be added to the favorites list.  Known as a community partner, Moe’s looks forward to helping others raise funds through their Taco Kit Fundraisers.  To book a fundraiser email moesfundraisingcle@gmail.com or call Moe’s fundraising coordinator, Candi at 440-289-6115.
