Newbury’s junior high and high school artists exhibited artwork at the annual Middlefield Art Show in early April. This show is a tradition in Geauga County, showcasing the best from the county.
Among the amazing artworks presented, Newbury’s artists showed a range of talent through two-dimensional pieces done in colored pencil, acrylic paint, oil pastel, and printmaking. We also had a wonderful array of three-dimensional work that included wire sculpture, paper mache, and found object assemblage.
Our students have been very dedicated throughout the year to their artwork. Their work is always on view in the high school building and we have two students entered in a congressional art show this spring.
