Throughout the year, we practice bike safety, bike maintenance, proper seat position, helmet fit, and hand signals.
Most of the meeting included the election of new officers to kick off the 2015 year.
The Giggles ‘n Stitches 4-H sewing club attended the Geauga County 4-H Volunteer and Member Recognition Banquet and received awards and recognition for their successful 2014 4-H season.
Becoming a member of the Chardon Kiwanis Club needs support of personnel betterment through service to one’s community. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.
The high point of the November 6 meeting of the Chardon Toastmasters was the induction of another new member. Chardon resident Audrey Elszasz joined this international organization in her quest for personal and professional growth. “It’s always a pleasure to welcome new members to our club.” said Marilyn Harman, DTM “As a retired teacher myself, I’ll enjoy having a kindred spirit in the group!”
