Don’t Scramble the Egg – 6th Grade Egg Drop Science Challenge

The students of St. Mary’s School Chardon were challenged to build a prototype device protecting an egg when dropped from high in the air. The device was to be both light and durable. Winning pairs had the lightest weight device and helped their egg survive the drop. The buzz created by the experiment was electric and the students continued to debate possibly materials and devices well after its end.
