St. Mary Parish CYO Girls Softball Team Takes Championship
A beautiful night in May was the setting for an intense playoff match up between cross town rivals St. Mary and Notre Dame.
A beautiful night in May was the setting for an intense playoff match up between cross town rivals St. Mary and Notre Dame.
The students of St. Mary’s School Chardon were challenged to build a prototype device protecting an egg when dropped from high in the air. The device was to be both light and durable. Winning pairs had the lightest weight device and helped their egg survive the drop. The buzz created by the experiment was electric and the students continued to debate possibly materials and devices well after its end.
Local veterans from each branch of the military gathered at St. Mary’s School in Chardon, on November 11th to replace the school’s flag. Each student paid their respects and shook the hand of one of their own veterans during the flag raising ceremony.
The 2014 class of Leadership Geauga spent the day engaging local, county, and state leaders as part of Leadership’s annual Government Day.
At its height of grandeur, Millionaires Row stretched four miles along Euclid Avenue from Public Square.
