DESCRIPTION:A gala event\, including music\, poetry and refreshments to honor those very special people who through their foresight and hard work have made lasting contributions to conservation in Geauga County. This year we honor: Tom Curtin\, 14 year director of Geauga Park District\, Ann Malmquist\, founder of Native Plant Society of Northeast Ohio and Duane Ferris\, Science Teacher and first Naturalist of Geauga Parks District. \nThe event also features presentation of Bob McCullough Memorial Conservation scholarships to three high school seniors who intend to pursue study in the Natural Resources.
