Reithoffer’s Art\, Spirits and Entertainment was founded in 2019 by Jason and Debby Wein\, owners of Cleveland Art. The couple bought the property after the passing of its previous owner\, Johnathan Reithoffer\, a prominent character during his life in Auburn\, who also had a keen eye for salvage. \nIn the spirit of Reithoffer’s love of salvage\, nearing 30 years of tradition repurposing materials at Cleveland Art\, Jason and Debby are excited to share this new line of furniture the team has been hard at work building out of historical materials from the Terminal Tower. Elegant bronze trim and molding featuring floral designs\, owls\, gargoyles and other ornate patterns\, have been made into beautiful bars\, tables\, doors\, mirrors and more. “Old is new\, that’s how we do at Cleveland Art\,” said Jason Wein. “The terminal tower is the city’s most iconic building. It was built for the rail station by the Van Sweringen brothers in the 20s at the height of Cleveland’s capitalist grandeur. DESCRIPTION:Cleveland Art is hosting a Valentine’s Day art market following the success of their holiday markets in the Reithoffer Gallery at Auburn Corners; 17711 Ravenna Rd\, Chagrin Falls\, OH 44023. \nThe gallery will be open to the public Friday\, February 11 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday\, February 12 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. \nDaily admissions will cost $10.00 and\, like the previous markets\, include appetizers and beverages\, including beer and wine. \nVendor spaces will cost $150.00\, and art market staff will be on the property to assist vendors before\, during and after the event. \nWith an average attendance of over 300 people each weekend during the holiday markets\, Cleveland Art and the team at AAD are confident local shopping opportunities like this one are in high demand\, and that art markets in the Reithoffer gallery will continue to be an enriching experience for guests and vendors alike. \n“Taking part in the past Reithoffer art show was such an amazing experience\,” said returning artist\, Pamela Bennet. “I met so many great people\, all of whom were encouraging to each other. I can’t wait for the Valentine’s Day show.” \nAttendees of the previous markets will see faces both familiar and new at this upcoming event\, with some vendors returning\, and some participating for the first time. \n“I saw your post and knew I needed to apply\,” said Laura Allison\, who discovered the event on Instagram. “I’m a new jewelry artist\, specifically making hypoallergenic earrings. My pieces are simple and unique with a pop of color. I use both silver and gold\, and I also do custom work. Many of the items left at Auburn Corners after Reithoffer’s passing have been  repurposed into the property or by Cleveland Art in products the company sells.  \nCleveland Art is led by a passionate team of people who work hard to reclaim\, recycle  and repurpose old material for art\, furniture and lighting fixtures for home\, retail and  service spaces.
