DESCRIPTION:What critters do you see while driving Geauga\, and why aren’t some more road-wise?\nTraveling the byways and highways of our region provides a great “vehicle” (pun intended) for viewing wildlife. Not to take a driver’s eye off the road\, but there’s a whole menagerie of critters that are tending to their business as they pass over\, alongside and sometimes in front of us – look out! \nWhat: What Was That! Wildlife Through the Windshield \nWhen: Sunday\, February 23 – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. \nWhere: The West Woods Nature Center\n9465 Kinsman Road (Route 87)\, Russell Township \nFrom highway hawks and roadside rodents to tarmac turtles and asphalt amphibians\, road-rambling Senior Naturalist Dan Best will spend this program providing an overview of wildlife activity to be glimpsed\, glanced at or given way to. \nAmong Nature’s jaywalkers\, find out who’s road-wise and who ends up road kill and why. \nRegistration is not required for this program\, best for those school age and older\, which is wheelchair/stroller accessible.
