SUMMARY:Historic Survey Results in Burton Village
DESCRIPTION:Since October 2012\, an intensive historic survey of approximately 42 buildings in the Burton Historic District has been conducted by a professional consulting firm\, Rausche Historic Preservation\, LLC. The survey has been completed\, and the findings of the survey will be presented Monday\, July 22\, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Burton Village Hall Council Chambers. \nArchival research and architectural survey was conducted by the RHP team. This project was able to take place through a Federal Grant obtained by the Village of Burton as being a Certified Local Government Community. The results will assist the Burton Historic District Architectural Review Board to help citizens to maintain the architectural and historic integrity of their buildings and therefore their value. \nThe survey will contribute to the economic\, recreational\, cultural\, and educational development of the Village of Burton by promoting the use of its historic resources with existing and new uses through a preservation plan and guidelines for the 21st Century. \nFor additional information please contact the Village of Burton at 440- 834-4474. \n \n
