Be a part of the 1st Professional Disc Golf Association Sanctioned tournament at Punderson State Park’s Disc Golf Course on Saturday, September 22, 2012! The tournament will feature two rounds of 18 holes plus side games in between. You can pre-register for the tournament on the PDGA website by clicking here. The field will be limited to 72 players; women and youth players are welcome! Prizes will be awarded.
If you have never played disc golf, this would be a great time to come out and spectate! You can also participate in the mini games between and/or after the rounds.
If you would like to know more about disc golf, feel free to join us at our weekly scrambles held on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. at the disc golf course at Punderson State Park. If you don’t have any discs, don’t worry! We have some available for sale during our league rounds and they can also be purchased at JC’s Restaurant and Geauga Pawn. Disc golf (Frisbee Golf or Frolf) is played much like regular golf with Frisbees and a basket (target) which catches them. We also have monthly glow events which are played in the dark with glow in the dark discs!
For more information about this tournament, you can follow us on Disc Golf Scene.
