For that scout in your life, Geauga Park District is proud to announce its fall Scout Days program, geared toward encouraging exploration of the new Claridon Woodlands!
On Saturday, September 22nd, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., scouts of all ages are invited to stop by 11383 Claridon Troy Road for an open-house scavenger hunt to discover this park’s unique features, including its freeform boulder wall, fishing platform, Nature-based playground, pump track, single mountain bike track, access to The Maple Highlands Trail, and 2.2 miles of wooded hiking trails.
Check in at the pavilion for a discovery program, then guide your own exploration throughout the 127-acre park. Registration is not required. Activities can be done individually or with a troop.
Claridon Woodlands’ first-come first-served ropes course will also be available to explore 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For details on this activity, please visit the Claridon Woodlands page of the new Geauga Park District. With questions, please call 440-286-9516.
