Troy Oaks Homes – Meet Your Merchant

Troy Oaks is one of the finest manufactured homes communities in Ohio. We have won many awards, and we are very proud of it. An independent survey group contacted the homeowners who gave us very high approval. The survey also included a detailed inspection. Keeping up with the Ohio and national laws has helped keep Troy Oaks a Community of Excellence.

Our community was started in 1971 by my father, Louis A. Ziherl. The property was originally a dairy farm, but also had the natural beauty of woods, ponds, and ravines. After a career in teaching, I started working in the office in 1994 with my husband David. David was president from 1990 until his death in November of 2011.

Manufactured homes are in a class by themselves. They are not modular, pre-fab, or mobile.

Manufactured homes are built to HUD codes which means the construction is excellent. Owning a home in Troy Oaks gives homeowners comfortable, affordable homes in a well maintained community.

Inside a homeManufactured homes now represent over 25% of all single family homes sold in America – over 15 million people can’t be wrong!

Because we are located on Route 422, we have very easy access to Cleveland and Warren. We are about a mile East of Route 44 on the other side of LaDue Lake so we have good access to Chardon and Geauga Hospital to the north and Ravenna to the south.

Our office is on 422 and our other entrance is off of Shaw Rd.

Inside a home in Troy OaksWe encourage people looking for a home to visit us for a tour and have Becky, Tom, or me take them into some of the great homes for sale. To see the community and current homes for sale on line, visit our website.
