DESCRIPTION:A unique free event featuring the lively music of the Chardon Polka Band will take place at Celebration Lutheran Church\, 10621 Auburn Rd.\, Chardon\, Ohio on Sunday\, March 15\, 2026 from 3:00 -5:30 p.m. The event\, Beer & Hymns\, will benefit the SubZero Mission organization which provides gloves\, hats\, coats\, boots\, sleeping bags\, and other warming items to the homeless in northeast Ohio. \nSnacks and soft drinks will be provided by Celebration Lutheran Church and attendees age 21 and older are encouraged to bring a beverage of their choice. Attendees are also encouraged to bring monetary donations for SubZero Mission and/or any of the warming items listed above. Come and enjoy gospel hymns and other assorted music performed as only the Chardon Polka Band can do. \nWhether you are a fan of the Chardon Polka Band\, passionate about helping the homeless\, or looking for an afternoon of great music\, food\, and company\, plan on attending Beer & Hymns at Celebration Lutheran. SUMMARY:Chardon Polka Band Worship\, Concert\, and Picnic Benefit
DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy the Chardon Polka Band as they lead a polka-style worship service for the tenth year at Celebration Lutheran Church\, 10621 Auburn Road\, Chardon on Sunday\, June 23\, 2024 beginning with coffee and donuts at 9:30 a.m.\nFollowing the worship service which will be from 10-11 a.m.\, a free picnic-style lunch will be provided by members of Celebration\, and the Chardon Polka Band present a free concert from 11:45 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to bring children (there will be activities for them) and also to bring lawn chairs. If the weather is inclement\, the event will be held indoors. Donations will be accepted during the worship service and concert to benefit The Ox Shoppe\, a non-profit organization serving people with employment barriers.\nFor additional information\, please contact Paul at 440-897-0121.
